Through the Green Building Resource Directory, the GBC hopes
that green building will become a widely accepted practice in the
area, creating a demand for local products, protecting and improving
our natural resources in the Northeast Ohio region, and increasing
the building options now readily available on the market. The resources
for the widespread adoption of green building practices are becoming
increasingly available in this region.
The Directory serves to both make these resources, from professionals
to materials, easily accessible as well as to exemplify that there
is still room for growth and innovation in the local markets.
Note: Neither the Cleveland Green Building Coalition nor an affiliated
organization has tested the products in the directory. The Cleveland
GBC cannot guarantee that any of the listed products, professionals,
examples, or resources are green, or that they meet their
green claims.
The
number of green building materials is growing rapidly throughout
the country. This directory is aimed to highlight local resources
for green building. It is in no way a complete guide to all available
green building materials. For a more complete listing of national
resources, we have referred to, and recommend the following directories:
