Gypsum Board (Dry Wall)
Gypsum board is normally made with a recycled paper facing pressed onto a gypsum core. The gypsum is normally mined, however, synthetic or flue-gas gypsum can be replace virgin materials. These replacement materials are a waste product from desulfurizing stack scrubbers of coal-fired power plants. These materials can replace virgin material up to 100%. No local manufacturers of recycled content gypsum.

Fiberock® incorporates perlite and recycled newsprint paper into the gypsum core. The result is stronger, stiffer, and more dense than regular drywall. They also produce 100% synthetic gypsum board.
