"What
Good is a Green School if No One Knows How to Use It?"
is an interactive session that involves the audience in identifying
current barriers to and trends emerging in the design and construction
of high performance green schools and the impact they will have
on the future of using the physical learning environment. A series
of "pop quizzes" are used to solicit input from attendees
to identify and solves barriers to the design and construction
of high performance green schools, real or perceived, and to further
advance the use of facilities that are integral to the curriculum
and related teaching activities. The intention is to evoke an
informative and entertaining discussion that will raise the awareness
of issues relevant to those who participate. Results from the
session will be compiled along with others and disseminated to
interested parties.
