2003: Westlake

The 2003 strawbale workshop was hosted by the Web of Life, a health food restaurant in Westlake, Ohio. The store owners Albert and Medeana Hobar needed a greenhouse for the produce they grow on their farm and sell in their store. The greenhouse structure was built mostly from wood salvaged by Albert. To learn more about their great store or their farm, visit www.weboflifewestlake.com.

This strawbale workshop focused on strawbale installation, cob mixing and application, clay slip making and spraying, and finish plaster work.
